Reverend Dick and Judy Miller believe in miracles! They believe God to see things happen! We believe that together we can help others who are temporarily in need of assistance and can benefit from our ministry. Our slogan is "Feeding the Multitude on Faith and a Few Loaves and Fishes." We have thought about this ministry for years, but only recently we decided to "get out of the boat" and get things done. Our Lord is able to do abundantly above all that we say or ask! He only asks that we go into all the world and minister His Word. With Loaves and Fishes Food Ministry we have begun to do just that! "[Jesus] Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and …they all ate and were satisfied." (Matthew 14:19,20; Mark 6:41,42; Luke 9:16,17)

A SERVANT'S HEART FOR SENIORS GIFT DISTRIBUTION A HUGE SUCCESS

A SERVANT'S HEART FOR SENIORS CHRISTMAS GIFT DISTRIBUTION WAS A HUGE SUCCESS

EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION

Our organization would like to thank and express our sincere appreciation to the area citizens, churches and businesses who gave so generously of their time and resources in contributing to our A Servant's Heart for Seniors Christmas Tree that was located in the Cocke County Courthouse. It was through the love and generosity of so many that we were able to give food boxes to over 147 families and Christmas gifts to 101 senior citizens. These Senior Citizens know that they received a gift of love this year. Their gifts were selected carefully by others who cared about them this Christmas and chose special gifts for them. Truly, Cocke County should be proud of its citizens. There are many who indeed have A Servant's Heart. Although most are anonymous to us, we salute them!

We extend a special Thank You to the following:

Commander Wayne Stufflestreet and the Disabled American Veterans;
Cocke County Sheriff Armando Fontes and the Cocke County Sheriff's Department; Cocke County Mayor Vaughn Moore; Bush Beans; Con-Agra; Joyce and Peachie Cody at Cocke County Sessions Court; Vonda Grigsby Family; Attny Barry Valentine; Christian Fellowship Class at the First Methodist Church on Washington Ave; Kenjo Market Manager, April Rader; Glenda Iery, Mngr. of Blue Ridge Apartments; Pamila Chapman; Phyllis Blazer and Sue Clark and Caton's Grove Church; Georgia White; The Negrone Family; Vickie and Fred Holt; Kimball Realty in Pigeon Forge; Save-A-Lot Grocery Store; Carver Apple House and Restaurant; Powerhouse Church in Cosby; Larry and Linda Roosa; Ben and Betty Ragan and all the volunteers who made this day special. To those whose names were inadvertently omitted, we apologize.

We distributed most of the gifts through our Food Distribution that was held on December 17th; however we also delivered packages to seniors on Christmas eve and Christmas morning.

We have received phone calls and messages from Seniors who felt special and pampered. The cards we received revealed the love and gratefulness of our senior citizens. Some even cried to know that there were those who cared enough for them to give them gifts and food. We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts, as do the recipients of your gifts. Pictures will follow shortly.

May you all have a blessed New Year!
