Reverend Dick and Judy Miller believe in miracles! They believe God to see things happen! We believe that together we can help others who are temporarily in need of assistance and can benefit from our ministry. Our slogan is "Feeding the Multitude on Faith and a Few Loaves and Fishes." We have thought about this ministry for years, but only recently we decided to "get out of the boat" and get things done. Our Lord is able to do abundantly above all that we say or ask! He only asks that we go into all the world and minister His Word. With Loaves and Fishes Food Ministry we have begun to do just that! "[Jesus] Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and …they all ate and were satisfied." (Matthew 14:19,20; Mark 6:41,42; Luke 9:16,17)

THANKSGIVING FOOD DISTRIBUTION DATE ANNOUNCED

THANKSGIVING FOOD DISTRIBUTION DATE

We have tentatively set the date for our
Thanksgiving Food Distribution for

Saturday, November 19th at 1:00 PM
until food is given out.

We will give the food out on a first come, first served basis. If you know of a shut-in who needs food, please let us know. We will try to deliver to those who have no possible way to get to us.
Once again, our mission is to provide a week's worth of groceries to those in need during these difficult economic times.

Thanks and God bless!

FOOD IS BEGINNING TO ARRIVE! THANKS SO MUCH!

We just want to let everyone know that we have begun to collect food donations here at our home, which for now will be the place for distribution, unless the Lord provides otherwise. We have lots of ideas, but they have not come to pass yet.

We are still working on the date for Thanksgiving Distribution and will post it online as well as in the newspaper as soon as we can. If we gather enough, we will pass food out earlier than our Thanksgiving distribution.

We have posted some of the kinds of foods that we would love to be able to collect for our "Food Distribution Typical Bag"; as our program expands, our goal is to have these items on hand so we can distribute regularly.

As you can see, we are planning to give out nutritional foods, including meats, when we are able to do so.
As you look over the list posted yesterday, you will see that we need, pasta, rice, sauce, spam, corned beef, beef stew, vegetables, soup (large cans and small cans), canned fruit, boxed cereal, cake mixes, puddings, powdered milk, tuna, toilet paper, bread, baby food, deodorant, shampoos, soaps etc.

Thanksgiving provides another chance to gather and distribute foods of a different kind. Just imagine what you would love to have on Thanksgiving. Possible ideas are: cranberries, instant potatoes, yams, sweet potatoes, fruit, jello, corn, peas, green beans, soup, dry milk, stuffing, and desserts of all kinds. Refrigeration is available.
